a Warsaw University graduate (Department of Economics). 1987-90 - worked for the Council of Economic Consultancy, later - for the Economic Council in the Council of Ministers Office. In 1990 he was co-founder, President of the Board and Managing Director of "Pomaton" Music Company (later - "Pomaton EMI", at present "EMI Music Poland" Ltd.), one of Poland's largest record companies. President of the Board of EMI Music Publishing Polska and Duży Dom Dystrybucyjny (Big Distribution House), a company distributing phono- and video-grams. Vice-President of the Union of Audio-Video Producers (ZPAV)
