Goal:
The project DMET - Digital Music Education and Training will develop and implement a curriculum on digital music business for professional music creators: authors, composers, artists and producers / small record labels.
Objectives:
- better business orientation in the curricula for music professionals (Universities, Conservatoires, Music Schools),
- higher market share for European repertoire in the European and worldwide music market,
- higher market share for European niche music through better marketing and utilization of the possibilities to communicate with the target groups in the online-music-market,
- increase of musical diversity through a better outreach of niche repertoires,
- easier access to European Music for worldwide audiences in the online-distribution-market.
The duration of the whole project is October 2005 - October 2008.
The DMET Project is realized with the support of the Culture 2000 programme of the European Union.
