Conference 2006

The first DMET conference "Music on Internet: Information - Promotion - Distribution", organized by Polish Music Information Centre, was held on 25th - 26th September 2006 at the Warsaw University (www.uw.edu.pl) in Warsaw. The presentations dealt generally with the following themes: the classical music online, making music files available on Internet sites, distribution of music files for promotion and sale, wav and mp3 formats. Papers were delivered by experts from Poland and abroad. The date of the conference was chosen intentionally - during the 49. International Festival of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn" www.warsaw-autumn.art.pl. Participants in the Conference could attend four concerts of the Festival.
