The main Internet base for the implementation of the project is the Manymusic(s) site: www.manymusics.org, a kind of experimental "chain" of music shops offering files with many different types and genres of music in mp3 format. These files are not protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management), which makes it possible to use them freely after purchase. The site was developed by IAMIC (International Association of Music Information Centres) and mica - music information centre austria, and it is operated by Austrian Music Export.
