Warsaw | Olga Pasiecznik, Janusz Wawrowski and Karol Kozłowski at the concert of the Partnership in Music Foundation

Partnerstwo 22.12.22 prOn the 22nd of December, 2022 at 19.00 in the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music there will be a concert of the Partnership in Music Foundation in cooperation with the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Artists who perform on the biggest music stages on a daily basis will perform: Olga Pasiecznik (soprano), Janusz Wawrowski (violin) and Karol Kozłowski (tenor). Free entrance!

In addition to the invited stars, musicians representing the Foundation will also appear on the stage: Marianna Sikorska (cello) and Mischa Kozłowski (piano).

Katowice | Concert on the 25th anniversary of the New Music Orchestra

OMN 20.12.22 prOn the 20th of December, 2022 at 19.00 at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, during the concert on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the New Music Orchestra directed by Szymon Bywalec, the world premiere of Zbigniew Bargielski's Sonoralia will take place.

This work was written especially for the New Music Orchestra and Szymon Bywalec, and its commission is related to the 85th birthday of Zbigniew Bargielski and the 25th  anniversary of the New Music Orchestra's artistic activity. Composition was co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund - a state special purpose fund, as part of the ‘Composers' Commissions’ programme implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.

The New Music Orchestra will also present works whose creators draw on the music of the past, but dress it in a completely modern sound design: Per Nørgård's Bach to the Future for two percussions and a small orchestra, Le voci sottovetro for soprano and ensemble by Salvatore Sciarrino and Święty Boże, Święty Mocny by Artur Zagajewski.

Wrocław | The Christmas meeting with the NFM Girls' Choir

The Christmas meeting with the NFM Girls' Choir will take place at the Wroclavia Shopping Center on the 19th of December 19, 2022 at 17.00 and 17.45. Free entrance!

The NFM Girls' Choir is a new initiative aimed at making girls sing and presenting music lovers with beautiful music written for girls' choirs. Free classes are conducted by qualified teaching staff directed by Małgorzata Podzielny in Educational Centre of NFM.

Z Klasyka 18.12.22 prDuring the last concert this year as part of the project of the National Institute of Music and Dance ‘With classics through Poland’ on the 18th of December 18, 2022 in the Center for Culture and Reading of the Domaniów Commune Trio H2F will perform at 18.00. Free entrance!

Malwina Lipiec-Rozmysłowicz (harp), Alicja Kieruzalska (bassoon) and Jan Krzeszowiec (flute) will perform works by Witold Lutosławski, as well as M.Ravel, F.Schubert, F.Chopin, C.E.Lefebvre, A.M.Beach and A.Jolivet' and.

Warsaw | Recital and awarding Tomasz Konieczny with the Gold Medal of Merit ‘Gloria Artis’

One of the most outstanding bass-baritones today, an ambassador of Polish culture abroad, an excellent interpreter of Wagnerian characters, winner of many awards, soloist performing on the most important opera stages in the world - Tomasz Konieczny will celebrate 25 years of opera career. His recital and the ceremony of awarding him with the Gold Medal of Merit ‘Gloria Artis’ for lifetime artistic activity will take place on the 17th of December, 2022 at 18.00 at the Grand Theater - National Opera.

During the recital, organized by the Grand Theater - National Opera and the Dal Segno Institute Association, the artist will perform with the pianist Lech Napierała. Polish premiere of Aleksander Nowak's Couplets to words by Bolesław Leśmian will be presented. The programme also includes songs by Mykola Lysenko, Richard Strauss and Two Buffo Arias by Henryk Czyż.

Warsaw | Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra – concert of premieres!

POSI 17.12.22 prOn the 17th of December, 2022 at 19.00 in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio in Warsaw Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra conducted by Marek Wroniszewski will perform a premiere of the Concerto for flute, tenor saxophone and symphony orchestra ‘Archaniołowie’ by Adam Wesołowski and Imaginarium for woodwind quintet and orchestra by Szymon Godziemb-Trytek. The soloists will be Łukasz Długosz (flute) and Piotr Baron (tenor saxophone), director of the Orchestra.

Bydgoszcz | 4th Christmas Festival ‘Art Mintaka’

The star of the 4th Christmas Festival ‘Art Mintaka’, which will take place on December 16 -18, 2022 at the Leon Wyczółlkowski District Museum in Bydgoszcz, will be pianist Szymon Nehring. Admission to the concerts is free!

The programme of this year's edition includes compositions of 20th century composers like, Kazimierz Serocki, whose 100th anniversary of birth falls this year, as well as premieres of the latest works by Polish composers: Neve by Aleksandra Kacy, Requiem by Rafał Gorzycki, PostQuartet by Wojciech Błażejczyk and Noumen IV by Aleksander Kościow. The premiere festival works are commissioned by the ART MINTAKA Foundation.

Zielona Góra | Final of the String Festival ‘Polish Masters of Violin’,

On the 16th of December 2022, we will be able to get into the festive mood during the final concert of the String Festival ‘Polish Masters of Violin’, which will take place at 19.00 at the Tadeusz Baird Zielona Góra Philharmonic. The Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Czesław Grabowski will present Polish Christmas carols arranged by this respected conductor and composer.

The 'Christmas Concerto, as the Concerto Grosso from Op. 6 by Arcangel Corelli is usually called, will begin one of the last concerts of this year at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic. In the interpretation of Roksana Kwaśnikowska-Stankiewicz we will hear the Violin Concerto in D major Op. 61 by Ludwig van Beethoven – one of the most frequently performed concertos in the entire violin repertoire.
