Chopin’s Piano - Lenar / Masecki / Zrałek

Fortepian ChopinaOn November 24, 2015 at 6.00 pm. the Museum of Chopin in Warsaw (1 Okólnik Street) will host an audio play titled Chopin’s Piano. Admission free.

In what way does the city of Warsaw remember Chopin and pay a tribute to him? Does the memory cover all the details or only fragments? The audio play created by 3 artists coming from different artistic backgrounds – Marcin Masecki, Wojtek Zrałek-Kossakowski and Marcin Lenarczyk – is an attempt to reconstruct the memories about the "great/greatest Polish composer". The composition, having the original structure of an audio drama, combines the musical, sound and reportage or feature film-like profiles. As a result, an unexpected narration is formed – a combination of a musical story, sound documentary and radio play.

The organizers invite all guests to join also the discussion panel with the composition’s authors and Antoni Michnik’s introduction.
