On the occasion of the Sinfonia Varsovia's 38th anniversary the orchestra will perform at the "Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera" on the 7th of March 2022 at 7 p.m.
The programme consists of Chopin's Piano Concerto in F Minor as well as Symphony No. 4 in D minor by Robert Schumann and Chaconne from the Polish Requiem by Krzysztof Penderecki. The artists will be the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition 3rd award winner Martín García García and the conductor Aleksandar Marković.
Another jubilee worth mentioning is the 50th anniversary of the Polish Chamber Orchestra which in 1984 formed its symphoni equivalent - Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Yehudi Menuhin at the time.
