The National Institute of Music and Dance is launching the We support Ukraine programme, aimed at artists who came to Poland after the 24th of February, 2022 and Polish cultural institutions that are willing to establish cooperation with them. The programme will last until the end of 2022.
“The National Institute of Music and Dance has been supporting the professional development of artists in various fields for many years. Culture evokes beauty and harmony in our lives - which we need especially now, when the world around us is on the verge of existing values.’ says Katarzyna Meissner, director of the National Institute of Music and Dance. – ‘In this special situation, we do not forget about the artists who found asylum in Poland. We want to help them find peace and perspective for further life, including professional life. I would like to thank the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for supporting this programme - I am convinced that it will be an effective support for our colleagues from Ukraine’.
