Patronat medialny nad Festiwalem sprawuje Polskie Centrum Informacji Muzycznej POLMIC.
Eight concerts with the participation of celebrities of the Polish music scene will take place between the 10th of September and the 2nd of October, 2022. This year's edition of the Festival, entitled ‘Innovations’, concentrates on the greatest innovations in the history of music that took place in two eras: baroque and contemporary music. The innovations of both are decisive for the further course of music history.
During this year's edition of the Festival six works by Polish composers: Paweł Łukaszewski, Leszek Kołodziejski, Ignacy Zalewski, Adam Wesołowski and Michał Malec will be premiered.
This year, the following ensembles will perform: Capella Cracoviensis, Silesian Philharmonic - Silesian Chamber Orchestra, Katowice City Singers Ensemble ‘Camerata Silesia’ and soloists and conductors: Marek Toporowski, Łukasz Długosz, Agata Kielar-Długosz, Jan Tomasz Adamus, Anna Szostak, Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski, Aleksandra Gajecka-Antosiewicz, Leszek Kołodziejski, Ewa Uryga, Bartłomiej Duś.
Co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the ‘Music’ programme, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
