Witold Lutosławski Society and Program 2 of the Polish Radio invite you to the jubilee, twentieth edition of the Witold Lutosławski Festival ‘Chain' on January 28 - February 12, 2023. The concerts will take place in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio.
Polish premieres of works by Alexander Goehr, Wallingford Riegger, Per Nørgård, Sándor Szokolay, Frank Martin, Sándor Veress and Willem Pijper will take place at the Festival.
The programme of this year's Festival includes two chamber concerts with the participation of the V4 Quartet as well as Anna Radziejewska and Karol Kozłowski together with the Chain Ensemble orchestra. During three symphonic concerts, the following performers will appear on the festival stage: he Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Robertas Servenikas, Ewa Leszczyńska (soprano) and the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw conducted by Yaroslav Shemet and Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Martijn Dendievel.
