The Polish Society for Contemporary Music, as every year, organizes the National Jury of the World Music Days 2023, which this time will be held in South Africa from November 24 to December 3. The deadline for submitting applications to PTMW is March 15, 2023. The deadline for submitting individual applications (directly to the Festival Organizers) is March 24.
The National Jury will select six works recommended by the Polish Section of ISCM for the ISCM World New Music Days festival. The Regulations are addressed to all Polish composers and to foreign composers living in Poland.
In accordance with the guidelines of the festival organizer's regulations, it is recommended that the duration of the submitted compositions be consistent with the duration assigned to each of the 16 categories. Works shorter than 10 minutes are preferred. Compositions written after 2018 are prioritized.
The compositions selected by the National Jury of each ISCM section will then be judged by an international jury in South Africa.
