Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
Works by two great Polish composers - Grażyna Bacewicz and Witold Lutosławski, and the brilliant Octet in E flat major by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in the concert programme are a recipe for a wonderful evening filled with the beautiful sound of string instruments. On the 5th of October, 2023 at 7 p.m., eight extraordinary musicians will perform at the National Forum of Music.
They will perform Lutosławski's Silesian Melodies and Bacewicz Quartet, written for four violins. Music created with talented young people in mind will be combined with the String Octet by the sixteen-year-old Mendelssohn.
