On November 11, 2015 the names of the award winners were announced at a special gala held in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw.
The awards were granted in 3 categories:
• Paweł Mykietyn - Personality of the Year;
• Opening of the new concert venue of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice - Event of the Year;
• Stanisław Skrowaczewski - Honorary Award.
The winners received commemorative statuettes designed by Prof. Adam Myjak, while the financial rewards (Personality of the Year Award and Honorary Award) were funded by ZAiKS Authors’ Association (Polish Society of Authors and Composers) and by STOART Union of Performing Artists.
The gala concert titled Polish Parade was be performed by Viktora Nowak (winner of the Eurovision Young Dancers 2015), Włodek Pawlik (winner of Grammy 2014), Dorota Miśkiewicz with ensemble (Tomasz Kałwak - piano, Artur Lesicki - guitar, Michał Kapczuk - double bass, Robert Luty - percussion), and Polish Radio Orchestra conducted by Michał Klauza. The programme included compositions by Henryk Wars, Władysław Szpilman, Jerzy Wasowski ,Włodzimierz Nahorny, and Włodek Pawlik.
