Premiere performances of the opera for children Mikołajek and Other Boys by Radosław Mateja will be held on January 13 and 14, 2016 in the Chamber Hall of the Stanisław Moniuszko Grand Theatre in Poznań.
The composition, directed by Regina Lissowska, will be performed by students of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Acadmy of Music in Poznań. The text, based on René Goscinny’s short stories (transl. B. Grzegorzewska, E. Staniszkis, T. Markuszewicz), was written by Magdalena Mateja.
