Orkiestrownik: new app release

OrkiestrownikOrkiestrownik offers an innovative, interactive way of exploring orchestral music and instruments. It gives users an unprecedented view of how classical music is made. The free-of-charge application for Android and iOS has been made available on September 15, 2016.

The app features multi-channel recording of Maurice Ravel’s Bolero, which might be viewed from the perspective of the conductor and the players of each instrumental section. While using the application, users can follow the score, watch videos or read micro-essays of Sinfonia Varsovia’s principals telling about their instrument, listen to Polish conductor Jerzy Maksymiuk explaining what his job was and use other functions.

The application was designed by Netigen Kluzowicz sp. j., made and authorized by the Institute of Music and Dance and the National Audiovisual Institute, and financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
