3rd International Contemporary Music Seminar Piano & Electronics

sThe final concert of the 3rd International Contemporary Music Seminar will be held on April 2, 2017 at the Pomeranian Philharmonic.

2017 edition of the International Contemporary Music Seminar Piano & Electronics, initiated and directed by pianist Adam Kośmieja, will be held between March 31 and April 2 at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. The line-up offers concerts and lectures run by Jarosław Kapuściński (Poland/USA - Stanford University of California), Winston Choi (Canada - CCPA/Roosevelt University in Chicago), Elżbieta Sikora (Poland/France), Pierre Jodlowski (France) and Cezary Duchnowski (Poland - Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław).

The programme of the final concert includes Reflets irises for piano and electroacoustic sounds by Elżbieta Sikora, Reality on Braces Stretched from the Window for 2 pianos and computer by Cezary Duchnowski, Fahrenheit for piano and large chamber orchestra by Mischa Zupko, and Ultimatum for string orchestra and text (pre-recorded or performed live) by Pierre Jodlowski. The works will be performed by Cappella Bydgostiensis under Szymon Bywalec and pianists Winston Choi, Jakub Kazianwczko and Dorota Demidowicz.
