Poznań | Valentine's Day with Amadeus

The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio invites you to a Valentine's concert, which will take place in the Adam Mickiewicz University Hall on February 17, 2019 at 6.00 p.m.

In the first part of the concert, the talented Polish violinist Ewelina Nowicka will perform two works by Mieczysław Weinberg, whose 100th birthday anniversary is celebrated this year. We will listen her rendition of Concertino Op. 42 for violin and string orchestra and Rhapsody on Moldavian themes, Op. 47 No. 3. The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra will be led by Anna Duczmal-Mróz. 

The second part of the concert will be filled with Argentinian tangos by Astor Piazzolla performed by the well-known accordionist and bandoneonist Wiesław Prządka. This concert will also promote the latest record of the Amadeus orchestra and Wiesław Prządka entitled Astor Piazzolla. Suite Troileana. The evening will also feature a dance show performed by Agata Czartoryska and Michał Kaczmarek, the founders of the Tanga Theatre and the Casa Buena School.
