Artur Malawski Philharmonic in Rzeszów invites you on April 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. for a symphonic featuring works by Stanisław Moniuszko and Karol Szymanowski.
The Moniuszko's Year will be celebrated with one of the most frequently performed instrumental works of Stanisław Moniuszko – Overture to the opera Halka. The programme wiill also include Symphony No. 4 'Symphonie Concertante' by Karol Szymanowski, which he premiered as pianist-soloist and composer, having achieved great success. We will also listen to Rhapsody on the theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninov, which is a series of variations based on the famous Caprice No. 24 in A minor by Niccolò Paganini.
The works will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Artur Malawski Philharmonic conducted by Bartosz Staniszewski. The pianists Andrzej Pikul and Marharyta Kozlovska will perform as soloists.
