A ceremonial opening of the refurbished Karol Szymnowski Chamber Hall at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music will take place on 20 May 2019 at 12.00 p.m.
Modernization and new arrangement of the next chamber hall at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music has just finished. The ceremonial opening of the renovated hall, named after Karol Szymanowski, will feature the performance of the Chopin University Big Band under the direction of its leader Piotr Kostrzewa.
The new hall will have several functions: it will be a cinema, auditorium and lecture hall. The project was co-financed under the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme 2014-2020 VIII Priority axis – Protection of Cultural Heritage and Development of Cultural Resources.
