Festival "Chopin without borders"

Chopin bez granic

The Lower Silesian Society of Fryedryk Chopin in Wroclaw invites you to the 'Chopin without borders' festival, which will take place between 22 September and 6 October 2019.

The event is directed to a wide audience, music lovers and classical music enthusiasts. The concerts will take place in the St. Adalbert Roman Catholic Church in Wroclaw, the hall of the County Office in Trzebnica, the church of Peace of the Holy Trinity in Świdnica and the Topacz Castle in Ślęza. We will listen to works of Fryderyk Chopin in various arrangements as well as pieces of other musical geniuses, including Stanisław Moniuszko and Ignacy Jan Paderewski.

The performers will be musicians from Lower Silesia: mezzo-soprano Magdalena Wachowska, organists Zuzanna and Maciej Bator, trumpeter Marcin Król, violinists Karol Lipiński-Brańka and Mateusz Marut, pianists Tomasz Marut, Michał Michalski and Iwona Sukienik, guitarist Michał Daniel Bąk, L'Opera quartet and the special guest of the final concert – world-famous pianist Karol Radziwonowicz.

Admission to all events is free. The project is co-financed from the budget of the Lower Silesian Self-Government and the PZU Foundation.
