On 8 November 2019, the Silesian Museum will celebrate its 90th anniversary with a concert of the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Iwona Sobotka conducted by Juozas Domarkas.

We will also listen to the musical interpretation of Jan Kasprowicz's metaphysical poetry in the 3 Fragments from poems of Jan Kasprowicz, Op. 5 by Karol Szymanowski. The work will be performed for the first time by the world-reknown stage artist of exceptional sensitivity – Iwona Sobotka. The evening will finish with the solemn Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
