7th "World Voice Day" Festival

FGThe programme of the 7th "World Voice Day" Festival on 14-18 April 2021 includes concerts, workshops and meetings with authors. The celebration of the most perfect instrument of all falls on 16 April.

The organiser of the festival in Poland is Marcin Scech, soloist of the choir of the Castle Opera in Szczecin and president of the MogęBoChcę Foundation. The "World Voice Day" Festival aims to bring awareness of voice disorders, often occurring in many different professional groups. This year's edition, like most initiatives, has moved to the internet, where you can safely participate in meetings and workshops, lectures and concerts. The main advantage of the festival is its interdisciplinarity.

A concert "Musically / Visually" will be held on the World Voice Day at 6.00 p.m. at the CASTANEA Technopark Pomerania. It will initiate a new form of dialogue between students and lecturers of visual and music departments of the Academy of Art in Szczecin. We will listen to students and graduates of vocal studies and watch extraordinary computer animations, created in response to the performed music. The programme will include works by Grażyna Bacewicz, Karol Szymanowski, Fernand Obradors, Benjamin Britten, Claude Debussy, Reynald Hahn, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Stefan Johannes Walter.

The events will be broadcast on the Festival's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/worldvoicedaypolska/
