Katowice | Children's Day in a fairyland of music

FSOn 30 May 2021 at 11.00 a.m. the Henryk Mikołaj Górecki Silesian Philharmonic invites you to a concert on the occasion of Children's Day with the participation of the Philharmonic Choir under the baton of Jarosław Wolanin.

Is there a world where the adventures of fairy-tale characters intertwine: the Lion King in the African savannah, or Dorothy and her friend Toto in the wonderful land of Oz? Where does the woodpecker turn out to be a great doctor and the cockroach quite an agile dancer? Is there a world where you don't travel by plane, ship or train, but with music and your own imagination? Of course! It is a fairy-tale land of music, into which the concert hall of the Silesian Philharmonic will change on 30 May. The programme performed by the Choir of the Silesian Philharmonic under the direction of Jarosław Wolanin will include, among others, Witold Rudziński's song The Woodpecker and the Pine to the words of Stanisław Karaczyński.

The musical guides in this fairy-tale journey will be Barbara Badura and Adam Żaak, who will provide a lot of good musical fun and a lot of smile on the faces of children. Let this musical event be a nice gift for all the youngest on the occasion of the upcoming Children's Day.
