Music Summer in Subcarpathian Manors

SPMKThe Association of Polish Chamber Musicians returns with the project "Music Summer in Subcarpathian Manors" 2021. The festival will begin with events in Dwór Błotnicki in Dzikowiec (17 and 29 August at 5.00 p.m.), followed by two concerts at Dworek Hupki in Niwiska (17 and 22 September at 4.00 p.m.). Admission to all events is free. The project is carried out with the support of the Subcarpathian Voivodeship.

SPMKThe festival will feature 4 chamber concerts held in unique historic manor houses. The aim of the project is to popularize chamber music, broaden the knowledge of Polish music, promote young artists, as well as promote the gems of Subcarpathian cultural heritage. The proposed programme, performed by outstanding artists – members of the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians, is related to the tradition of manor houses of Polish nobility. Works by outstanding composers, created and performed in the privacy of landowners' residences, remind us of the beautiful tradition of salon concerts. Part of the programme will be devoted to the work of Władysław Żeleński, whose 100th death anniversary falls in 2021. There will also be premieres of new works by Marta Mołodyńska-Wheeler.
