The "Brzmienie Fest" Music Festival is the first edition of a new music project of the Kultura Brzmienia Foundation. A series of concerts will take place between 9 October and 13 November 2021 in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The leitmotif is music of Polish and foreign composers of the 20th and 21st century in arrangements for various instrumental ensembles performed by outstanding Polish artists.
The festival is going to take place in several beautiful places in the region: Castle on the Water in Wojnowice (9 and 29 October), Kliczków Castle (6 and 13 November), and Poviat Starosty in Trzebnica (5 November). The following artists will perform: Time Quartet, Reed Connection Trio, Repercussion Percussion Group, Ewelina Zawiślak – flute, Anna Warecka-Gryć – mezzo-soprano, Kinga Firej-Kubica – piano, Maksymilian Grzesiak – violin, Iwona Sukienik – piano. The programme will include works by such Polish composers as: Karol Szymanowski, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Wojciech Kilar, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Aleksander Tansman, Antoni Szałowski, Weronika Ratusińska-Zamuszko, Justyna Kowalska-Lasoń, and Aleksander Brych.
Kultura Brzmienia Foundation is a young organisation whose mission is to invite people to the world of culture. The foundation deals mainly with the organisation of concerts and artistic events, combining music with other fields of art. The "Brzmienie Fest" festival is co-financed by the PZU Foundation and the "Lotto" Foundation.
