The 13th edition of Schaeffer's Era Festival will feature a multimedia performance Schaeffer Arts Fight. This energetic "Fight for Art" from the perspective of Schaeffer's works will take place on 29 October 2021 at 7.00 p.m. at the Basen Artystyczny Stage in Warsaw.
Everyone who knows the avant-garde style of Professor Bogusław Schaeffer, knows very well that each meeting with his work – combining music, dance, graphics, visual arts and acting – has a unique character and is an extraordinary experience on an aesthetic and philosophical level.
Quoting Maciej Sobociński, who directed all the performances as part of the Schaeffer's Era project since its inception, "The 13th Schaeffer's Era will surprise you with its original form like never before. Based entirely on the Schaefferian unpredictable dialogue of the participating artists, it will become an unconventional duel for Man / Truth and Essence of Art."
Among the performers will be: Lidia Bogaczówna, Izabela Warykiewicz, Alicja Węgorzewska-Whiskerd, Sean Palmer, Marcel Wiercichowski, Witold Jurewicz, Janusz Radek, Marcin Wyrostek & Coloriage, Paweł Tomaszewski and Małe Instrumenty Ensemble.
The Honorary Patrons of the Festival are: the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport, the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Adam Struzik, and the President of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski.
The event is co-financed from the budget of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The project is co-financed by the Capital City of Warsaw as well as the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the "Music" programme, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
