Concerts of the 12th edition of the Gdańsk Art of Accordion Music Interpretation will be held on 10-13 December 2021, presenting avant-garde works by contemporary composers, classical accordion literature and transcriptions.
The programme of this year's edition includes contemporary music workshops for children and youth, which will take place on 10 December at the Culture City Institue in Gdańsk. Classes will be led by members of the Zagan Acoustic ensemble: Joachim Łuczak (violin), Paweł Zagańczyk (accordion) and cellist Nikola Freda. A concert of Polish accordion music performed by accordion virtuosos – lecturers of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music, Cezary Paciorek and Paweł Zagańczyk – will take place at the Baltic Sea Cultural Center on 13 December at 6 p.m. We will hear the premiere of works by Cezary Paciorek and Krzysztof Olczak. Andrzej Krzanowski's Autumn Impressions will be a rare opportunity to listen to bass accordion.
