Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC.
On the 7th of August, 2022 the Zofia and Wacław Nałkowski Museum in Wołomin invites you to a concert of a clarinet and piano duo. In the interpretation of pianist Paweł Popko and clarinetist Piotr Thieu-Quang, we will hear works by Franz Ignaz Danzi, Felix Mendelssohn, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Fryderyk Chopin and Francis Poulenc.
At the beginning of July, the Duo qualified for the Swedish International Duo Competition, which will take place on between the 19th and the 21st of August, 2022. The CMS law firm decided to support Popko / Thieu-Quang Duo's participation in the competition in Sweden. During the next concert, therefore, the Duo will present the repertoire to be performed at the competition.
During the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Competition of Polish Music, organized by NIMiT, the Duo received a distinction, as well as two special awards: for the performance of a piece written after 1945 and a year of media patronage (awards of the Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC).
