On the 17th of September, 2022 the inauguration of the 6th Kwadrofonik Festival will take place at SWPS. This year's edition focuses on the notion of time.
The prelude to the Festival were ITAKA shows by Sławomir Wojciechowski and Przemysław Klonowski. On the 17th of September at 4:00 p.m. at SWPS there will be a premiere of a reportage directed by Dorota Migas-Mazur, which is a record of the work on the performance, but also an independent artistic form. The documentary featuring Wojciechowski's music features legendary Polish actresses: Emilia Krakowska, Maja Komorowska and Barbara Krafftówna. The premiere will be accompanied by a debate with the participation of scientists associated with SWPS.
On the same day, the installation of Joanna Rajkowska SORRY, combined with the performance of the monumental composition For Christian Wolff by Morton Feldman, will also take place.
On the 27th of September, the Zodiak Architecture Pavilion in Warsaw will host a concert by Kwadrofonik, which will present European musical minimalism of the 20th century. The concert will take place as part of the Anthropocene exhibition, referring to the human era and changes of anthropogenic origin, which result in catastrophic climate warming.
The festival is made possible thanks to the support of the Capital City of Warsaw and the Active Citizens - National Fund Program.
