The ‘24 Generations’ concert from the series organized by the Polish Composers' Union together with the ZAiKS Authors' Association and Polish Radio Programme 2, will take place on the 29th of October, 2022 at 7.00 p.m. at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio. Admission free!
The Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw conducted by Rafał Janiak will perform with Kamil Kruk as a soloist in his own piece. We will hear Liquid air for orchestra (2021), by Elżbieta Sikora, Hyloflex αβ for string orchestra and computer (2007-2009) by Paweł Hendrich (the composer himself will be responsible for the electronics), Tempo capriccioso by Ewa Podgórska for string orchestra and 2 clarinets (2009) and Music for Strings, 2 groups of wind instruments and 2 loudspeakers by Andrzej Dobrowolski (1967).
The premiere of Path in the Clouds IV by Yauhen Paplauski for instrumental ensemble (2014), commissioned by the ZAiKS Authors' Association, as well as Kamil Kruk's Sequenze di ologrammi for orchestra (2021).
The concert is organized by the Programme 2 of the Polish Radio, ZAiKS Authors 'Association and the Polish Composers' Union from the funds of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, from the Culture Promotion Fund as part of the ‘Music’ programme, carried out by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
