Results of the Award of the Fr. Prof. Hieronim Feicht competition 2022 announced!

On the 21st of March, 2023, an online meeting of the Jury of the Fr. Prof. Hieronim Feicht competition took place. The jury decided to award this year the Prize and a distinction. The awarding of diplomas to the two laureates will take place during the opening ceremony of this year's 52nd Musicological Conference of the Polish Composers' Union, on the 7th of September, 2023 at the Institute of Music of the University of Rzeszów.

The Award was unanimously awarded to Mr. Miłosz Kula for his work Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf's Symphonies and their reception in the former Republic of Poland and Silesia (unpublished doctoral thesis, University of Wrocław 2021).

At the same time, the Jury of the Competition decided to award a distinction to Jakub Strużyński for his work Wilhelm Adolph (1729–1781). Vesperae in F, (ed. Jakub Strużyński, Warsaw, Wydawnictwo Naukowe Sub Lupa, 2021) from the series ‘Fontes Musicae in Polonia’.
