NeoArte – Synthesizer of Arts is a festival presenting the most interesting trends in contemporary music and art, a platform combining artists from different countries and cultures, an intriguing and unusual event that gives an opportunity to interact with works which stimulate new areas of human senses and enrich our perspective on the world.

The first edition of the festival took place in Sopot in 2012 under the name NeoArte – New Music Spectrum, which functioned until 2016. Starting from 2013, the event takes place every year in Gdańsk, and its program is systematically extended by an educational part, which includes workshops for composers, workshops of contemporary improvisation and activities for children.

Each edition of the festival is being held under the patronage of an outstanding contemporary composer. The organizers have already hosted Paweł Szymański, Elżbieta Sikora, Cezary Duchnowski, Paweł Mykietyn, Joanna Bruzdowicz and Pierre Jodlowski. Among the performers of the festival are such ensembles as Motion Trio, Kwartludium, Ensemble Nostri Temporis, Elettro Voce, Kuba Kapsa Ensemble, and soloists like Szabolcs Esztenyi.

The festival is organized by NeoQuartet and the NeoArte Association founded by the ensemble. Thanks to the support of the Institute of Music and Dance, it regularly commissions new works of Polish and foreign composers. Among the artists who wrote especially for the festival are: Karol Nepelski, Sławomir Kupczak, Jakub Polaczyk, Bohdan Sehin, Aleksander Kosciów, Oleksij Shmurak, Jerzy Kornowicz, Agnieszka Stulgińska, Marek Czerniewicz, Dariusz Przybylski, Xiaogang Ye, Gabriel Paiuk.
