| The central part of this bilingual (Polish-English) monograph dedicated to the contemporary Polish composer Aleksander Lasoń is the theme catalogue of his works with detailed descriptions of individual pieces, Lasoń’s own commentaries, excerpts from press reviews, information concerning performances, recordings and publications, as well as score examples. The book also contains the composer’s life history (in dates), an essay on his music entitled Between vigour and contemplation, between the mountains and the cathedrals written by Andrzej Chłopecki, the artist’s concert diary as conductor, his bibliography and a collection of photos. |
