Hashtag Ensemble will present the project ‘Introverts'Collective’, on the 15th of June, 2023 at 19.00 in their new place. The event will be a concert by Rafał Zapała with the participation of the composer himself.

The concert is also an attempt to depart from the linearity of the musical course, to exploit the possibilities of ubiquitous technology to go beyond the stereotypical interaction of musicians and the audience and enter a situation of truly partner dialogue, horizontality of communication and openness to the unpredictable.

‘Introverts' Collective’ is the result of the Fulbright scholarship (Fulbright Senior Award 2021), and the programme of the evening consists of four pieces from the years 2018-2021: Futility, Judge Me Again, Scrolling to Zero and a composition created especially for this project, from which the whole was named: Introverts' Collective.

After the concert, there will be a meeting with the composer, led by Piotr Tkacz-Bielewicz.

Warsaw | Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra: closing of the artistic season 2022/2023

POSI 10.6.23Media Patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC

The 2022/2023 artistic season of the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra will end with a concert on the 10th of June at 19.00 in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio. It will be a unique concert of 20th and 21st century music inspired by the works of the Renaissance and Baroque eras. The conductor and soloist will be Stefan Plewniak, a versatile artist known as baroque and contemporary violinist, conductor and music producer.

Ottorino Respighi's Trittico botticelliano is an evocation of three famous paintings by the Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli from the collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Maurice Ravel, writing the piano cycle of six miniatures Le Tombeau de Couperin, referred to the concept of the Baroque suite. In Vivaldi's Four Seasons Recomposed, Max Richter reached for the well-known programme cycle of four concertos by the Italian Baroque master and showed it in a completely new light, using well-known motifs (according to Richter, his version contains about 1/4 of Vivaldi's original material) processed and embedded in new contexts. Zuzanna Całka, who plays the synthesizer, will also perform as a soloist in this piece.
