Neo Temporis Group, the first Polish-Ukrainian ensemble performing contemporary music, will give 4 concerts in Ukraine between April 20-24, 2016. In few months, Requiem Records label will release the artists’ debut album.
Neo Temporis Group was established by NeoQuartet and Ensemble Nostri Temporis in 2013. The major aim of the project is an international cultural exchange and a query for new qualities in art. The artists spontaneously joined forces during the Ukrainian Biennale of New Music and decided to continue collaboration, which resulted in performances at the International Festival of Contemporary Music "Warsaw Autumn" (2014), NeoArte New Music Spectrum Festival in Gdańsk (2014) and International Contermporary Music Festival "Contrasts" in Lviv. In 2015, the ensemble commissioned Max Kolomiiets to write a work, which they premiered in Lviv and presented also in Gdańsk and Krakow.
The programme presented during the concert tour includes compositions by Polish and Ukrainian composers (Sławomir Kupczak, Karol Nepelski, Dariusz Przybylski, Jerzy Kornowicz, Oleksij Shmurak, Bohdan Sehin, Max Kolomiiets, Zoltan Almashi).
