On April 29, 2018 at 6.00 p.m. in the Katowice headquarters of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra there will be a master recital, during which the Lithuanian-Polish trio will perform the work of Eugeniusz Knapik, Tha 'Munnot Waste No Time.

Lithuanian pianists Ruta Rikterė and Zbignevas Ibelgauptas, professors of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater as well as NOSPR clarinettist Bartosz Pacan will take part in the April concert. the programme will be filled with music of Polish and Lithuanian composers: Roberto demonai ir angelai by Bronius Kutavičius'(born 1932), SUTAPO Gintaras Sodeika (born 1961), and Tha 'Munnot Waste No Timeby Eugeniusz Knapik (born 1951). Moreover, in the interpretation of musicians we will hear Fantasia in F minor D. 940 by Franz Schubert, symphonic poem Les Préludes by Franz Liszt and La Valse by Maurice Ravel (versions for two pianos).

Tha 'Munnot Waste No Time (Let's not waste time, 1998) for two pianos and a clarinet is one of the few chamber pieces by Eugeniusz Knapik. The work, as described in the PWM catalog, is composer's ''personal, artistic farewell to the twentieth century. Tha' Munnot Waste No Time is the title of one of the chapters of a well-known and once popular (now re-emarging) book for children and young people, i.e. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. In the "Warsaw Autumn" festival programme book (1999) Knapik wrote: '' (...) The book, which is addressed to young readers, is about the timeless longings for Harmony, Beauty, Good and Friendship. Its basic premise is that these values are around us, and that often we are very close to them. Unfortunately, so often between the 'secret garden' and us (or maybe inside us), a wall springs up completely covering the object of our desires (...).''
