Computer Composition Studio of the Karol Lipiński Music Academy in Wrocław invites you on June 16-17, 2018 to the Third Festival "Sine scientia ars nihil est".
"Sine scientia ars nihil est" – this thought attributed to Jean Mignot, the 14th-century French architect, perfectly illustrates the kind of music that is presented at this mini-festival. Traditional instruments in symbiosis / counterpoints with electroacoustic instruments, computers used as traditional instruments (Laptop Ensemble), self-playing piano controlled by computer (disklavier – this is the name of the instrument), world premieres of the latest compositions of students of the Music Academy in Wrocław and works by Georgian guest composer Reso Kiknadze – all this is awaiting you at this year's edition of the Festival.
Admission to the event is free: guaranteed places for holders of free admission cards. Cards can be picked up at the reception of the E building from June 9, 2018.
