On June 15, 2018 at 7.00 pm in the Gorzów Philharmonic there will be a concert of the Richard Zielinski Singers choir entitled "Voice of America".
The excellent Richard Zielinski Singers choir from the United States will present itself in a specially prepared programme. The choir was founded in 2005 and its name comes from the name of its conductor of Polish origin. Richard Zielinski Singers is a group of professional singers – choir enthusiasts from all over the world. The choir's repertoire includes songs from Baroque to Broadway music, from classical music to contemporary choral music.
During the concert at the Gorzów Philharmonic, the artists will perform an interesting and varied repertoire, in which everyone will find something for themselves. There will be folk-colored songs, gospel music, the most famous American songs, songs of contemporary American composers, as well as works by Polish artists, including beautiful Renaissance song Already It Is Dusk by Wacław of Szamotuły, Exsultate Deo by Marek Jasiński and the remarkable piece Mironczarnia by the young Polish composer Jakub Neske, written for the text of the poem by Miron Białoszewski.
