The series of concerts of "Aukso" Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy under the direction of Marek Moś will take place between August 13-16, 2018 in Pieniny region with the participation of special guests: guitar virtuoso Waldemar Gromolak and Reut Rivka with Krzysztof Kobyliński's KK PEARLS ensemble.
The events in Szczawnica and Jaworki will include orchestral and chamber concerts, as well as a meeting with the festival's guest, pianist and composer Krzysztof Kobyliński. In the final concert, which will take place on August 16 in the Guest Manor in Szczawnica, we will hear musicians from abroad: Israeli singer Reut Rivka, guitarist Dima Gorelik, and Colombian bassist Edi Sanchez – soloists of the KK PEARLS ensemble under the direction of Krzysztof Kobyliński.
The Aukso Orchestra will present three different repertoir programmes, which refer to the jubilees celebrated in 2018. In the classical programme, apart from works of the Baroque period (Antonio Vivaldi's concerts with the participation of the soloist – Waldemar Gromolak), there will be works by Polish composers (including Paderewski). The repertoire will also highlight the work of Zygmunt Krauze, celebrating his eighty years this year.
