A concert "Music of our times" will be held on September 16, 2018 at 6.00 p.m. at the Palace in Rybna. It is organized by the Center for Contemporary Harpsichord Music as part of the cycle "In homage to Elżbieta Chojnacka".
The concert is a meeting with two great artists: Paweł Gusnar and Alina Ratkowska, whose art has inspired the greatest Polish composers of the "music of our times" for years. During this intriguing evening we will hear harpsichord and electronics combined with saxophone. Both main instruments will present themselves solo and in a duet, leading the listeners from the mysterious aura of ancient myths to the fascinating sound potential of modern Lisbon, with a short stop at the center of energetic dialogue of harpsichordic manuals.
The musicians will present works by Weronika Ratusińska-Zamuszko, Bartosz Kowalski, Elżbieta Sikora and Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska. The concert will be hosted by Piotr Oczkowski.
