Witold Lutosławski Society invites you to the next concert in the cycle "New Music Stage – a series of concerts in Nowy Teatr", which will take place on October 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
The programme will include Gérard Grisey's Vortex temporum, one of the musical classics of recent decades, and Witold Lutosławski's music for the play of A. de Musset On ne badine pas avec l’amour for flute. The work was commissioned in 1953 by Tadeusz Byrski, director of the theaters in Kielce and Poznań, and was long considered missing. The piece was found only in 2013. It will be performed by Chain Ensemble under the direction of Andrzej Bauer.
