Warsaw | Afternoon Tea with Mr Moniuszko

A family concert entitled "Afternoon Tea with Mr Moniuszko" will take place on June 2, 2019 at 4.00 p.m. in the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra Concert Hall (272 Grochowska Street) as part of the cycle "Summer Concerts at Grochowska Street".

The afternoon chamber concerts will take place every weekend, featuring both renowned artists and rising stars of classical music. During the 30 thematically divided concerts – Not only orchestra, Japan, Moniuszko, Relax, On travel, Improvisation, Old Warsaw – we will have a chance to listen to ensembles of differnet types, such as a reed quintet with saxophone and bass clarinet, a cello octet or a flute quartet. The programme will include music of many styles and eras – from Baroque, through Romanticism, to jazz, contemporary and improvised music.

The "Afternoon Tea with Mr Moniuszko" concert will be will be led by Malina Sarnowska. Justyna Stępień-Grozdew (soprano), Rafał Grozdew (tenor), Tomasz Pawłowski (piano) and Animato Children's Choir directed by Olivia Kaczyńska will present Stanisław Moniuszko's chamber music.
