Over 1000 minutes of mountain footage, meetings with outstanding climbers and mountaineers, climbing competitions and ... a concert of the Karłowicz Quartet on 8 February 2020 at 4:45 p.m. in the Hall of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.
Aiming to popularise the work of its patron, the Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in Szczecin began to cooperate with the 9th Tadeusz Piotrowski Mountain Films Review "O! Mountains". For music lovers Mieczysław Karłowicz is above all a brilliant representative of Young Poland, but for the mountain lovers – he is the legend of mountaineering and a pioneer of Polish skiing (off-piste skiing). To introduce Mieczysław Karłowicz's musical output to the representatives of the above-mentioned environment, the Szczecin Philharmonic broaden the programme of the festival by adding a concert of the Karłowicz Quartet. The ensemble will perform compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Grażyna Bacewicz and Mieczysław Karłowicz.
