#stayathome and spend time with the PWM Edition

PWM

Rest to the sounds from the new album? Relax with an interesting book? Or maybe reading or watching cartoons with children? Moments spent at home can be a great opportunity to catch up on cultural backlogs and develop interests. For the near future the PWM Edition has prepared a number of activities for children and adults, without leaving home.

While at home, we encourage you to listen to good music on Spotify. Every week a different album of the "Anaklasis" series will be examined and playlists of the most important works of Polish music literature from 1918-2018, released in the exclusive "100 for 100" box awarded with two "Fryderyk" awards, will be available at your fingertips. Look for phonographic recommendations from the "100 by 100" list every Friday at https://www.facebook.com/PWMEdition/, and on Mondays reach for the selected "Anaklasis" album.

The new music lovers will enjoy the portal http://stonasto.pl/ – a compendium of knowledge about Polish music of the 20th and 21st centuries, presenting interesting facts about composers, works and recordings of selected compositions which constitute the canon of Polish music since independence. Every Thursday the PWM YouTube channel will release new 'Music Profiles' – video materials in which musicologists and artists talk about the most important examples from Polish music literature from 1918 to 2018. Those whose 20th and 21st century sound experiments will inspire to create their own works can use the "Compose with PWM: Etude for ...", "Dissonance" and "Sonoforms" applications, available free of charge on Google Play and App Store. A special treat for music lovers will be the 10-minute excerpts from the audiovisual recordings of works by Agata Zubel (Bildbeschreibung), Alek Nowak (ahat-ilī - Sister of Gods) and Andrzej Krzanowski (Broadcast V), premiered on the PWM YouTube channel. Stay tuned!
