The Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art and the Music is For Everyone Foundation invite you to a series of interactive multisensory activities for families with children aged 3-6 years "Smykowizje Online". The next workshop (in Polish) entitled "Abstraction squared" will be held at Smykowizje Online Facebook page on 9 May 2020 at 11.00 a.m.
What is abstraction? Can all images and shapes be named? Can a triangle be a ship, and a circle be a crocodile eye? During the next "Smykowizji online" meeting we will visit the Bik Van der Pol duo exhibition "Way too many stories to fit in such a small box" at the Ujazdowski Castle. We will listen to strange stories told by the exhibition and the amazing Square. And finally, together we will create an abstract work of art.
Parents with children can listen to the stories accompanied by music composed by Agnieszka Widlarz and use the materials and tools introduced by the organizers to draw their children's attention to the basic shapes close to their perception: a line, square, rectangle or circle. The EDU U-Jazdowski team together with the Music is for Everyone Foundation prepared many sensory surprises and creative tales, which can be told together.
