Bydgoszcz | Bydgoszcz Music Festival in the Crown

The Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic invites you to the Bydgoszcz Music Festival in the Crown, which will be held betweem 18 September and 10 October 2020. 

The programme of the Festival will include real gems of music, from Bach, through Mozart, Beethoven, Penderecki and Kilar, to Sinatra, Brel and Wodecki – all performed by high-class musicians.

The inaugural concert will be dedicated to the memory of Krzysztof Penderecki. The Symphony Orchestra of the Pomeranian Philharmonic, the Women's Festival Choir, Iwona Hossa (soprano), Adam Kutn (baritone), Joanna Kravchenka (erhu) under the direction of Kai Bumann will present such works as Entrata for brass instruments and timpani, Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima, Symphony No. 6 "Chinese Songs", Chaconne and Lacrimosa II. Polish music will be also featured in the "Adam Sztaba Family Concert" (under the direction of the maestro we will hear Wojciech Kilar's Polonaise from the film Pan Tadeusz and Adam Sztaba's Riffenuto), as well as "Moniuszko 200 / Kasia Moś & Aukso".
