Polish accents at ECLAT Festival Neue Musik in Stuttgart

ECLAT Festival Neue Musik in Stuttgart is one of the most important events presenting new music. This year’s edition will take place between the 1st and 6th of February 2022 and focuses on Belarus, social distance and digital means of communication. The programme of the Festival contains among others works of Polish composers: Anna Sowa, Agata Zubel and Mikołaj Laskowski.

The Festival will be held traditionally in Theaterhaus in Stuttgart as well as online. The performances will be broadcasted live and available on request for a couple of weeks more.

Ensemble Musikfabrik will perform Mikołaj Laskowski’s 5 Things That Really Matter (2018) at the concert on the 3rd of January at 8 p.m. On the 6th of January at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. 3 Songs for a singer accompanying herself of Agata Zubel, a piece commissioned for the Festival, will be performed by Ukrainian singer Viktoriia Vitrenko. Anna Sowa’s smar II first performance, one year delayed by the pandemic, will be finally presented as well.
