Pabianice, Wiaderno and Krośniewice | 'With classics through Poland': Krzysztof Jakowicz and Robert Morawski

The next three concerts from the series ‘With classics through Poland’ will be held on the 6th of May at 6.00 p.m. at the Zbigniew Herbert Municipal Cultural Center in Pabianice, on the 7th of May 7 at 5.00 p.m. at the Municipal Cultural Center in Wiaderna and on the 8th of May 2022 at 7.00 p.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krośniewice. Violinist Krzysztof Jakowicz and pianist Robert Morawski will perform.

The aim of the project, which began in the second half of 2019, is to reach smaller centers, cities, towns and villages with music programmes performed by recognized Polish artists: to those audiences who have difficult access to direct contact with classical music. The project ‘With classics through Poland’ is an initiative organized by the Polish Music Management operating as part of the National Institute of Music and Dance with the support of Prof. Piotr Gliński, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

During the upcoming concerts Pieść Roxany (Roxana's Song) from Karol Szymanowski's King Roger opera, Pieśń polska (Polish Song), Dudziarz (Piper), Obertas and Polonez koncertowy (Concert Polonaise) by Henryk Wieniawski as well as works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Fritz Kreisler, Astor Piazzolla and Pablo de Sarasate will be presented to the audience.
