Media patronage: Polish Music Information Centre POLMIC
The 4th Wanda Wiłkomirska Polish Music Violin Competition will be held in Częstochowa on November 8-13, 2022. Children and youth from all over Poland will present mainly the works of Polish artists.
The competition jury will be composed of Lidiya Futorska (Ukraine), Aleksandra Szwejkowska-Belica, Paweł Kukliński, Marcin Mirowski (Poland), Leonard Vajdulak (Slovakia), Eliseu Silva (Portugal).
The inaugurating concert will take place at the Częstochowa Philharmonic. Lidiya Futorska, Natalia Dragan and Piotr Lasota with the accompaniment of the Symphony Orchestra of the Music School Complex in Częstochowa conducted by Miłosz Kula will perform works by Antonio Vivaldi, Henryk Wieniawski, Jenő Hubay and Barbara Kaszuba.
Auditions will take place at the Music School Complex in Częstochowa. During the laureates' concert on the 13th of November, the results will be announced and awards will be presented.
All concerts and auditions will be broadcast by the Academy of Film and Television and available online on YouTube.
