The 1st Baltic Opera Festival, whose originator and co-founder is the outstanding Polish bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny, will take place on July 14-17, 2023 on the stage of the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and Forest Opera in Sopot.
Performances presented at the Baltic Opera Festival are premiere productions of well-known titles. The Flying Dutchman - a three-act romantic opera by Richard Wagner - will be staged on the stage of the Forest Opera, in excellent acoustic conditions created by nature. The performance will be staged by the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk with the participation of its orchestra and choir, as well as world-class artists invited to cooperate, such as Andrzej Dobber, Małgorzata Walewska, Boris Kudlička and maestro Marek Janowski.
